Rundfahrt mit dem Glasbodenboot
Im Hafen von Paleokastritsa gibt es mehrere Möglichkeiten, die Küste zu erkunden. Eine davon ist die Fahrt mit dem 'Yellow Submarine' das zwar nicht untertaucht, aber durch seine abgesenkte Glaskonstruktion einen Unterwasser-Rundumblick ermöglicht.
One out of many possibilities to explore the coastline is a trip on the 'Yellow Submarine' a special glass-bottomed boat with the passengers sitting below the waterline and enjoying a nice panoramic sight.
Vorbei an der Bucht von Agios Spyridon und dem Kloster Panagia Theotokos führt die Fahrt zu einem etwa 300 m vom Festland entfernten Felsen, mit bester Aussicht auf das Kloster, die Ortschaft Lakones im Hintergrund und den mächtigen Felsaufbau links, auf dem sich die Burg Angelokastro befindet.
Passing the bay of Agios Spyridon and Panagia Theotokos Monastery we stopped at a rock about 300 m from the shore and had a magnificent view of the monastery, the village of Lakones and the massive rock on the left with Angelokastro Castle on top.
