Mustang: Teri La - Mustang
Mit der Überschreitung des Teri La dauert es 5-6 Tagesetappen bis Mustang über wüstenhafte Höhenrücken und durch Taloasen mit teilweise spektakulären Ausblicken auf die nahen Sechs- uns Siebentausender bis zur Annapurna und dem Dhaulagiri.
Including the ascent of the Teri La pass it takes about 5 to 6 days to reach Mustang, passing desert-like ridges and oases with spectacular views of the nearby six- and seven thousand meter peaks up to the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountains.
Kurz nach der Passhöhe des Teri La erscheint im Nordwesten die Kette des Mustang Himal (6200 m).
Just behind the top of the Teri La pass the chain of the Mustang mountains (6200 m) appears in north-western direction.

Auf dem weiteren Weg in Richtung Tangge bieten sich immer wieder hervorragende Ausblicke auf die Berge des Mustang Himal, den Nilgiri (7051 m) sowie den Dhaulagiri Himal mit Dhaulagiri (8167m), Tukuche Peak (6976m) und Dhampus Peak (6385 m).
On the way to Tangge we found some very nice vantage points with view to the mountains of the Mustang Range, Nilgiri (7.051 m) as well as the Dhaulagiri Himal with Dhaulagiri (8.167m), Tukuche Peak (6.976m) and Dhampus Peak (6.385m).

Der etwa 6200 m hohe Mustang Himal erstreckt sich nördlich des Dhaulagiri Himals. Noch weiter im Norden erkennt man die bis zu 6400 m hohe Grenzkette und das tibetische Hochplateau.
The mountains of Mustang Himal (6.200 m) are extending north of the Dhaulagiri Range. Even further to the north we could see the border mountains of the Tibetian plateau (6.400 m).

Bei Surkhang überqueren wir den letzten Höhenzug, bevor wir Mustang erreichen. Noch einmal geniessen wir den Blick auf die Berge der Annapurnakette und den Nilgiri Peak rechts davon.
Near Surkhang we crossed another ridge bevor we finally reached Mustang. Once again we enjoyed the panorama of the Annapurna and Nilgiri peaks.
