Zanskar: Lingti Chu - Phugtal Gompa
Von Sani Gompa geht es weiter, den Lingti Chu (Oberlauf des Zanskarflusses) entlang, vorbei an den Klöstern Bardan Gompa, Mune Gompa und zum Felsenkloster Phugtal Gompa.
From Sani Gompa we were following the Lingti Chu (upper Zanskar river), passing the monastaries Bardan Gompa, Mune Gompa and finally Phugtal Gompa which was built around a cavern.

Zusammenfluss von Lingti Chu und Tsarap Chu (von rechts). Die Brücke führt zum Lagerplatz bei Purne.

Auf einer Wiese bei Purne (3650 m) wird das nächste Lager aufgeschlagen. Von dort führt der Weg in das Seitental des Tsarap Chu hinauf zum Felsenkloster Phugtal.
We camped on a meadow near Purne (3.650 m) from where a path is leading up a side valley of Tsarap Chu to the monastery of Phugtal.

Sieben Kilometer vom Lagerplatz Purne entfernt liegt Phugtal Gompa (phug = Höhle) mit Tiefblick auf den Tsarap Chu Fluss. Im innersten Teil der Höhle gibt es eine Quelle, die das Kloster mit Wasser versorgt.
At a distance of seven kilometers from Purne we reached Phugtal Gompa (phug = cave) looking down to the Tsarap Chu River. In the cave there is a fountain which supplies the monastery with water.
