Pik Korshenewskaya
Vom Atschik Tash-Lager fliegt man mit dem Hubschrauber zum Fortambek-Lager am Fuss des Pik Moskwa und von dort aus zur Staubwiese (Korshenewskaya-Lager). Der Pik Korshenewskaya gilt als leichtester Siebentausender der ehemaligen Sowjetunion, wobei sich "leicht" aber nur auf die Sicht des Extrembergsteigers bezieht.
The most common means of transport im the Pamir area is the helicopter which took us from the Achik Tash Camp to the Fortambek Camp at the foot of Pik Moskwa and further to the 'dusty meadow' or Korshenewskaya Camp. Pik Korshenewskaya is said to be the easiest 7000 m peak of the former Soviet Union which is obviously only true from the point of a top mountaineer.
