The waterfall of Lehn, a small hamlet near Längenfeld in the Oetztal Valley is definitely worth a visit for hikers and those who prefer more difficult ascents. A fixed rope route including an overhanging roof is leading directly to the top of the waterfall and should only be used by experienced climbers.

There is definitely no shortage of waterfalls in the Oetztal Valley, especially after a cold front had passed in August...

The first part of the ascent is following a Way of the Cross up to a suspension bridge, where we saw our goal for the first time. A short time later we arrived at the vantage point below the waterfall.

From this place could also watch the fixed rope route which is leading to the top of the waterfall.
